Yerevan Liberation square

Armenia is a very interesting, beautiful, safe and friendly country. First historical christian state, situated in Caucasus, is has no access to any sea. Its nickname is Switzerland of Caucasus, which is definitely earned for a reason : half of the country is only beautiful mountains, a lot of great lakes, and intact nature all around. There is so many points of interests than a few weeks won't be enough. Many monasteries, but not only : 1000s years old castles ruins, monoliths, lakes, mountains, ... It is so safe anybody, even women, can cross alone parks anytime day or night - and parks are even opened at night. Said by many locals, and verified. Locals are extremely friendly and helpful - they love to share their amazing culture.

With a large selection of wines from all over the world at affordable prices, and a choice of great finger foods option, the wine bar InVino is a great option to start the evening with friends. They also have amazing choice of Armenian wines!

SanteFe yerevan

This bar and restaurant has a lot of outdoor seating on its large terraces, and is ideally located in the middle of the park, right in the middle of Cascade and the opera. However, prices are in the high range and might not be worth it for most guests.

Garni, 1st century greco-roman pagan temple

I used Hyur services nearly everyday during my stay - they have a large choice of tours, from 1 day to a week. Convenient hotel pickup can be organized in front of some hotels, buses are climatized and comfortable, tours are given in English / Russian / Armenian, food and water is provided. They definitely give some great bus tours.

Great option for a drink stop after long day walking around the city.

Hin Areni wine tasting

Going either by yourself or through Hyur tours, the Hin Areni winery visit is a must do while staying in Armenia for every wine enthusiast! With an amazing self production of white, rosé, and red wines, all available in both standard and in Reserve quality, the tour is worst the price and will make you wonder how to take more wine home in your luggage!

Stop Club dancefloor

Great place with live music, with bands changing everyday. Drinks are affordable, and after the band finishes playing, the dancefloor is great for enjoying a dancing night.
